Part of my new internship is staying up on all the latest social media news and trends. I’ve been finding tons of great statistics on all the major social media sites. I compiled a list of the ones I found most interesting. Enjoy!

Facebook:
- There are 206.2 Million Internet users in the US – 71% of the US web audience is on Facebook (Source)
- Facebook has over 310,000,000 unique visitors (Source)
- The average person spent 405 minutes on Facebook in January 2012 (Source)
- 56% of consumers say that they are more likely to recommend a brand after becoming a fan on Facebook (Source)
- Over 250 Million photos are uploaded daily and over 2.7 billion likes happen every day (Source)

Foursquare:
